I developed my photo retouching skills while working for The ExCITE Lab at SFU, where I was the senior designer on the Prime Ministers of Canada Project. I worked with hundreds of archival photographs over my career; restoring and retouching images for corporations and individuals.

I am most proud of the digital portraits of the 48 individuals who are featured in Aritha van Herk’s book Mavericks: An Incorrigible History of Alberta. The portraits are an integral part of the permanent exhibit “Mavericks”, which takes up most of the third floor of The Glenbow, the largest museum of its kind in western Canada.

There are several themed areas within the exhibit to explore; Railways, War, Politics, Ranching, Oil and Gas, just to name a few. Each portrait is situated in beautiful and often elaborate exhibit spaces, surrounded by interesting historical artifacts.
